Cesar Ibarra is an active duty police officer currently serving as a Field Training Officer for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Southeast Area Command. He attended Rio Hondo College in Los Angeles prior to becoming a Metro Police Officer. He acquired two Associates Degrees while attending college and plans to attain his Bachelors Degree in the near future. Cesar has been with Metro for 13 years. He is currently certified as a Defensive Tactics Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Gang Response Officer, Critical Incident Team Officer, MacTac Cadre, Spanish Speaker and has been a Field Training Officer for five years. Cesar has been in the Patrol Bureau his entire career patrolling the streets on the front line. He considers the patrolman’s job a privilege and values the opportunity to work with the community. He also enjoys the action and excitement experienced every day with his fellow men and women in uniform.
Cesar joined the Fraternal Order of Police to not only improve the quality of life for all police officers across the nation, but also to improve the relationship with the community he serves.
On his off time he enjoys spending time relaxing with his family and playing baseball with his friends. Fishing and shooting are his favorite hobbies. Cesar looks forward to working with officers and the community members to secure a better future for everyone.
